At 93, George Soros remains hard at work, engaging in ongoing stealthy efforts to “fundamentally transform” America into a Marxist hellhole where We the People will “own nothing and be happy.”
His latest? An audacious attempt at a quick and dirty takeover of “Audacy”—the second largest radio network in our nation.
Here’s the New York Post’s headline:
Dem-majority FCC helping George Soros fast-track takeover of nationwide radio network: ‘This is scary’
Instead of playing by the FCC’s rules, which state if foreign funding sources used in a purchase exceed 25%, they must be vetted first. Well, Soros’ Management Fund, admittedly using substantially more than 25% from who-knows-what foreign sources, demands to be greenlighted now—promising they’ll supply the required information “sometime down the road.”
Right. My guess is around Thanksgiving, i.e. after the election.
More from the Post:
Soros’s stake is equal to about 40% of the company’s senior debt — a massive chunk which, although not a majority, could yield effective control of the media giant when it emerges from bankruptcy.
The timing of the deal, just months before the 2024 presidential election, has raised eyebrows.
One insider, noting he is a Republican, said he felt it possible Soros was buying the stake to exert influence on public opinion in leading up to the election.
Duh!
What are some of the shows likely to be axed if Mr. Soros gets his way in his latest nefarious venture?
Conservative shows with hosts including: Sean Hannity, Dana Loesch, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck and Erick Erickson!
Undoubtedly music to the ears of Dems and assorted NeverTrumpers.
Kudos to Congressional watchdog Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) for raising the alarm over Soros’ stunt!
FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, one of two Republicans on the Commission, says: “The FCC should not create a special Soros shortcut.”
But keep in mind, under O’Biden’s administration, the Dems now have a 3-to-2 majority on the FCC, so this will likely be a battle.
We need to make our voices heard!
And the question needn’t only be “Why should the FCC’s rules be waived for Soros?” but also: “Why is this treasonous billionaire Leftist meddler still at large, and why would our government allow him to take over a lion’s share of our radio waves?”
