Not only did he die of a self-inflicted OD, and fail to mention to Chauvin, et al, he HAD taken the drugs, there was NO time in which Chauvin's knee was anywhere near his neck, airway or vital blood vessels; it was right where he was trained to put it; Floyd's scapula. Further, the autopsy report declared there was neither internal nor external bruising on Floyd's neck. However there was mild bruising over the scapula. Beyond that, Floyd's physical position placed his own bony structures ( jaw, and shoulder girdle) in position to prevent Chauvin's knee from reaching the vulnerable soft tissues in his neck.
